Metal Garden Planters started the way the best ideas often do by solving a problem close to home. We needed a waste paper bin, instead of buying one we made one from some scrap metal, from that waste paper bin the planter, window box, parcel box, post box ideas began to form.
Strong, weather-resistant, and built to last made using a guillotine, a RAS folder, a hand folder, a drill, a pencil, a ruler, and a few rivets. No unnecessary complexity. Just skilled hands, repurposed materials, and a commitment to making something genuinely useful.
Every planter is handmade to order from steel which has been repurposed, saved from the recycling via a scrap and given a new purpose, a new lease of life. As it is reused industrial steel it means no two are exactly alike, and nothing goes to waste. We make them to standard sizes or custom dimensions, so whether you have an awkward windowsill or a specific vision in mind, we can help.
